 Captain Steve Kraft of www.kraftyanglers.com is the best skipper I have ever had the pleasure to fish with. He knows the bay system and offshore fishing like the back of his hand. He has a 27 foot offshore boat and all the equipment and tackle you might need, for bay or offshore fishing (or bring your lucky rod and your own tackle box ).  I have fished with him many times each year for the last 19 years and have never been skunked. The last trip I caught a limit of the biggest trout I have ever caught, then released about 20 others. The last time offshore I got a 58 inch king and so many more I was sore the next day. Captain Rick Kraft - The Kraftier Angler Is the brother of Steve Kraft of the Krafty Angler Guide service. I have known and fished with Rick for almost 20 years. He has a 20 foot bay boat and a 25 foot Boston Whaler and extensive knowledge of East Galveston bay and East Matagorda bay. His usual haunt is Matagorda as he has a house on Caney creek. Last fall Alex and I went with him and Alex got a TX grand slam. I got a 22 inch flounder and Rick caught a Snook. We also filled the ice chest with Reds and Specks. If you like to catch fish in the bay, Jetties or offshore call Rick and I promise you will have a good time.
   
Curtis Luchak is a true outdoorsman. Whether hunting or fishing Curtis is the guide to call. Curtis has a 25 foot Ranger boat with twin mercury 250hp and fishes out of Freeport, Galveston and Texas City. He also goes offshore out of Freeport but if it is too rough, he knows bay areas and will put you on fish. The last time I went out with him I hooked the biggest flounder I ever saw and on a fly. Curtis specializes in bait and lure fishing, offshore and in the bays. He is also a great hunting guide.
